Physiotherapist - PT for Melbourne VIC

Position: Physiotherapist – Part time Aged care 
Location: Melbourne - 2 days in Altona Meadows and 2 days in Richmond
Client Demographic: Aged-care residents (predominantly older adults in residential/community aged-care settings)
Experience Required: Minimum 2+ years preferred

Role Overview:
We’re seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist who’s excited about making a difference in the lives of older adults. In this role you’ll deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions in aged-care settings, working to maintain and improve mobility, strength, balance and functional independence of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan and implement physiotherapy programs for older adults in residential/community aged-care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing, occupational therapy and podiatry
• Monitor client progress and adapt interventions accordingly
• Promote best-practice aged-care therapy and support accreditation requirements
• Participate in continuous professional development and training sessions

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent) and current General AHPRA registration
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience—preferably in aged care or allied health settings
• Hold Full working rights Visa
• Excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal aptitude and a genuine interest in elderly wellbeing
• Willingness to work 2 days in a week on the above mentioned locations, and uphold high standards of therapy service delivery
