Physiotherapist
About the job
Company Description Active Pelvic Health is a Melbourne-based expert physiotherapy clinic focused on empowering people through movement, education, and personalised pelvic health care. The clinic specialises in pelvic health and sports physiotherapy, supporting individuals through life stages such as adolescence, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, menopause, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Clients seek support for concerns including incontinence, prolapse, endometriosis, pelvic pain, and core dysfunction, with care tailored to uncover and address root causes. Active Pelvic Health proudly serves cis women, transgender women, and gender-diverse individuals in a safe, inclusive environment where client goals guide treatment. Using the Survive → Perform → Thrive framework, the clinic promotes long-term confidence, strength, and freedom through movement-focused, evidence-informed, person-centred care.
Role Description The Physiotherapist will provide high-quality pelvic health and musculoskeletal physiotherapy services to a diverse client base in an on-site, full-time role located in Melbourne, VIC. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing individualised treatment plans, and delivering manual therapy and exercise-based interventions. The role involves educating clients about pelvic health, injury prevention, and self-management strategies, as well as supporting them through stages such as pregnancy, postpartum, return to sport, and menopause. The Physiotherapist will maintain accurate clinical documentation, collaborate with other health professionals where appropriate, and contribute to a supportive, inclusive clinic culture. Participation in professional development, evidence-informed practice, and occasional clinic initiatives or workshops is expected.
