Practice Nurse (RN or EN)

Established in 2005, Point Cook Medical Centre is a leading provider of primary healthcare in the area.

We have a vacancy available for a practice nurse for our busy practice with an immediate start. The hours are negotiable for this role.

Registered or Enrolled Nurse

(Employment: (FT/PT), Full time or a minimum of 3 days/week is required)

Essential Criteria:

• Experience in General Practice

• Minimum 2-3 years of General Practice experience required

• Must have current unconditional registration with AHPRA

• Demonstrate outstanding work ethic, organisational and time management skills

• Current First Aid and CPR certificate.

• Demonstrate outstanding work ethic, organisational & time management skills

Beneficial experience :

• Experience with wound management, Immunisations, and assisting in procedures

• Exposure to developing Health Assessment and CDM Plans

• Experience with Medical Director software highly regarded

• Experience with minor procedures and treatment

• Child Immunisations

• ECG/Spirometry

• Chronic Disease Management

• Travel vaccinations ECG/ ABI & spirometry

• Misc. practice nurse duties (Triage, expiry check, consumables order)
