Practice Nurse

We are seeking a Casua/part-time Practice Nurse to join our friendly and dedicated team. The role is rostered across 2 days—Thursday and Friday—between 8:30am and 4:30/5:00pm. With the option to pick up extra

Glenmount Medical is a well-established, mixed billing practice. Our supportive team includes six doctors, experienced nurses, professional reception staff and management.

Located in Glen Waverley, the practice is easily accessible with public transport, or major freeways.

About the role:

Your responsibilities and duties will include but not are limited to:

• Chronic Disease Management and Health Assessments

• General Treatment Room procedures including ECGs, Ear Irrigation

• Monitoring the Recall System

• Adult and child vaccinations and injections

• Chronic and Acute Wound Care

• Assisting doctors with surgical procedures

• Stock Control

• Participating in Quality Improvement activities

• Infection Control

About you:

We are looking for someone with a special spark, who has a true passion and excitement for nursing practice, loves to work in a team and independently who is an authentic and active contributor to the nursing team!

Essential Criteria

• Current APHRA registration (RN only)

• Australian citizenship or permanent residency required

• Always displays initiative with a professional attitude to complete a high standard of work

• Minimum 1 years' experience in a general practice or similar healthcare setting

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience with Chronic Disease Management, Care Planning and Health Assessments

• Mandarin Speaking is a bonus

Remuneration will be in accordance with experience and qualifications.
