As a Registered Nurse, you will work independently, supported by virtual General Practitioner consultations, providing essential care to the Collarenebri Community. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, and ongoing evaluation.
• Administering immunisations.
• Performing venepuncture and cannulation with proficiency.
• Providing health education and promotion to individuals and the community.
• Managing chronic disease care and supporting preventative health initiatives.
• Collaborating with virtual General Practitioners to ensure seamless patient care and referral pathways.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records.
• Contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives within the clinic.

What We're Looking For

Essential Criteria

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as supported by Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Significant, well-rounded depth of experience as a Registered Nurse, demonstrating a strong foundation in diverse clinical settings.
• Proven proficiency in Venipuncture and Cannulation
• Current and valid CPR Certificate.
• Holds a Nurse Immuniser certification.
• Demonstrated experience and cultural competency in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) communities.

Highly Desired (But Not Essential – We're Open to Talent!)

• Previous experience in Rural and Remote healthcare settings.
• Experience with Virtual Care delivery
• Primary or aged care background.
