SALARY: up to $77 an hour + Super + Penalties

COMPANY: 

Large brand but the facility is for the community. It has been an aged care facility for over 100 years, generations have worked there since the ground was broken to build the home. Residents have a big part to play in decision making over activities, events, and where the town outings are. 

Awesome environment for hard workers. This is not an easy contract by any means. It is fast paced, challenging, and will require your A game each shift. 
 
THE ROLE: 

As a Registered Nurse we expect someone who is confident in their clinical ability and will be comfortable in leading AINs, and ENs on the floor. Relationships are important, we are looking for staff who will care for residents in the way they would their own family. Your daily responsibilities will include: 

• Managing medication rounds - S4, S8, and DDs
• Taking clear and detailed clinical notes for residents 
• Collaborating with the team to ensure each resident is well looked after
• Prioritising time to ensure all tasks are completed across the floor
• Being present in the facility and keeping the mood/spirits high across the floor
• Being a team player that is willing to help others

MUST HAVE:

• At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse within Aged Care
• Flexibility in schedule to work AM, PM, or Night shift
• Up to date compliance in accordance to the Aged Care standards
• Valid working rights in Australia
• Your own car or ability to get to and from work without public transport
