Position Description

The Queanbeyan GP Super Clinic is a local, GP run multi-disciplinary practice that has been delivering high quality care to the local community for the past 65+ years. We take pride in providing the highest standards in patient care and are growing our team to continue to meet the needs of our patients.

We are seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join our team on a fulltime basis to work alongside our wonderful team of Doctors and administration staff.

There is no after hours and weekend work required.

If you are applying for this role, you must have the following:

• Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA – Division 1
• A warm and friendly personality with a commitment to working as part of a team of professionals.
• Dedication to the provision of the highest standard of Nursing Care with exceptional attention to detail.
• Flexibility with hours.
• Proficient computer skills (previous experience with General Practice software not essential but highly regarded, especially Best Practice).
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous General Practice experience not essential but desirable.

The position also includes the delivery of quality clinical nursing services to our contracted doctors and their patients, by providing chronic disease management, triage, vaccinations, wound care, health assessments, recalls and reminders, assisting doctors with minor procedures, coordination of the treatment room and cold chain management.
