An industry-leading national occupational rehabilitation provider is currently seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist to join a close-knit team of six health professionals on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Operating within a private corporate structure as part of a global healthcare network, this role offers the chance to work just minutes from the beach in a supportive environment where well-being is a primary focus. The position is a permanent role with flexible hybrid working arrangements, allowing the successful candidate to balance working from home with flexible hours. With an anticipated start date in mid-2026, the team is known for its collaborative culture, featuring monthly social activities such as office bake-offs, murder mystery nights, and friendly tipping competitions.

The successful practitioner will serve as a Rehabilitation Consultant, enjoying the autonomy to manage their own daily schedule while receiving administrative support from Rehabilitation Assistants to ensure caseloads remain manageable. Key responsibilities include conducting a variety of clinical assessments such as functional capacity evaluations, worksite assessments, and ergonomic reviews. The consultant will apply clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes, develop injury prevention programs, and partner collaboratively with employers and medical professionals. This role involves working across both physical and psychological conditions to assist clients in reaching their fullest potential, with occasional opportunities for regional travel.

Remuneration for this position is highly competitive and includes innovative incentive and bonus schemes, as well as a monetary referral program for recommending new talent. The organization is committed to long-term professional growth, offering a "promote from within" culture, tailored career development pathways, and a comprehensive induction program featuring a dedicated buddy and workplace mentoring. Employees also benefit from the Star Award recognition program for top achievers and a robust health and wellness program designed to foster genuine connections within the multidisciplinary team.

To be eligible for this opportunity, candidates must hold a qualification in Occupational Therapy and maintain full professional registration with AHPRA, or be eligible to obtain it. The provider warmly welcomes new graduates and offers excellent on-the-job training to support their transition into the sector. Requirements include strong communication and time-management skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a genuine passion for the health benefits of injury prevention. A current driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle are essential. This is an invitation to join a diverse and inclusive team that values accountability, authenticity, and the courage to pursue bold ideas in healthcare.
