Working Hours: 38 hours/week
Salary: $100K to $120K per annum
Location: Sydney
Roles & Responsibilities:
Our client is a growing organization, leading the way in the delivery of high quality, caring and compassionate home therapy services to clients living in the community. They have a driven team of multidisciplinary professionals providing services to people with disabilities and the elderly living in the community and within Residential Facilities.
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will provide NDIS Occupational Therapy in a community setting. You will be responsible for:
- Provide support, leadership and mentoring to junior OT members
- Conduct client assessments & therapy from paediatric and adult clientele depending on your experience and interests
- Be able to solve both clinical and non-clinical problems in day-to-day work
- Be prepared to complete professional development activities and apply your skills to various clinical situations
- Be confident with clinical reasoning skills across a variety of conditions
- Be involved in liaising with multiple stakeholders regarding patient care

Essential Criteria:
- Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist with at least 12 months in Community setting
- AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist with tertiary qualifications required
- Experience working with NDIS and DVA clients preferred
- Demonstrate a passion for continuing to learn and grow in both a clinical and non-clinical perspective
- Demonstrate a willingness to progress your career from a clinical perspective if required.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Be able to work independently.
- Have a current driver’s license and your own car (option of company car for Full Time staff)
- Public hospital and/or NDIS experience will be highly desired.
- Current Police Check and WWCC
