Senior Occupational Therapist

The Role Work within a transdisciplinary team of passionate therapists in Broome and throughout the Kimberley. We provide therapy in our well-equipped facilities but mainly visit our participants in their own homes. Furthermore we provide therapy services in very remote areas and communities. Therefore we offer professional 4WD courses to make sure you have the best experience reaching your clients in our company cars on dirt roads or through river crossings. We also charter private aircrafts to get you in some of the most remote and pristine communities that Australia has to offer. You will have the opportunity to work with children and adults who are culturally and linguistically diverse and have a wide range of disabilities.

• Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy, or equivalent
• Current registration with AHPRA
• Excellent interpersonal manner and cross-cultural skills for working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Current NDIS Worker's Clearance (or willing to obtain)
• Current Australian Driver’s License
• Current Working with Children's Check (or willing to obtain)
• Current First Aid Certificate including CPR
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills
