Tamar Skin Clinic is a GP owned Skin Cancer Clinic based in Launceston, Tasmania. Currently we have 2 full time Doctors, both SCCA accredited, a Dermal therapist, who also holds a certificate in Dermoscopy and nurses familiar with all aspects of the clinic services. The clinic provides comprehensive skin services including full skin checks, skin photography using DermEngine, 3D body mapping with Optiscan, PDT - both light and sunlight activated, radiofrequency surgery and has 2 fully equipped procedure rooms for a full range of skin cancer surgery.

We also provide a range of aesthetic services and general dermatology services with patch testing

Role Description

This is a part time to full-time role for a Skin Cancer Doctor

Qualifications

• Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine and surgery, or equivalent - essential
• Certificate in Dermoscopy, or equivalent - essential
• Accredited doctor with SCCA - desirable
• Strong patient communication and consultation skills
• Current, unconditional medical registration with AHPRA and VR accreditation
• Extensive experience with Dermoscopy and skin cancer surgery desirable
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
