Speech Language Pathologist
So, you are a new graduate looking for your first job as a Speech Pathologist or you are an experienced Speech Pathologist looking for a change? Why not consider a different opportunity with an organisation who values your work/life balance!
The Opportunity and Organisation
Our vision is that HEEA will inspire and lead change to deliver best practice. We will, be honestly human, be ethical, be enthusiastic and be authentic.
HEEA provides therapeutic supports to people who purchase our services with their NDIS funding. This means no two days are the same! You could be providing a functional assessment for a person seeking a review, you could be working with child on Early Intervention Therapy, or assessing someone with their AT needs! Each person you meet you will change their life in a significant way, every day is rewarding.
At HEEA want to provide the best services to the people who purchase our services, therefore are extremely passionate about personal and professional development! For our team we provide ongoing development, not only do we cover your supervision costs but we are interested in what you want to learn! With an annual PD budget of $10,000 are you interested in Hanen Programs? AAC development? Early Intervention? Or Disability Specific subject? Lets have a chat about the ongoing professional development you want for your career! We are also deeply committed to personal development of our team, HEEA offers ongoing training in GreenX7, emotional intelligence and regular mentoring from the HEEA directors.
What are the downsides you ask?
Well, while we strive to provide the best possible services to people we are still a business. At HEEA we ask that every person understands individual targets and strives to meet them, simply see 5 people and complete the progress notes per day for 3 days, and then have 2 days to write your reports and do research in billable time and you will ace them!! We book all the appointments and manage all the invoicing, as a therapist you just need to spend your time with the people we have been engaged to help, both face to face and non-contact billable time!
