Speech Language Pathologist
We are a small private practice located in the Inner West of Sydney. We provide sessions in the clinic and offer home and school visits in surrounding suburbs.
Due to our growth, we are looking for a passionate speech pathologist with a genuine and caring heart to support the lives of people with communication disorders and disabilities. We value building strong relationships with our clients and families and collaborating with them to achieve their goals.
In this role, you will be exposed to a wide variety of NDIS caseload and will primarily provide assessment and therapy to paediatric clients with a range of developmental conditions and special needs including autism, global developmental delay, autism etc. There will be opportunities to see adult clients if desired.
You will:
- Assess and diagnose communication disorders using standardised and non-standardised assessments
- Develop, implement, monitor and review treatment plans using evidence-based practice
- Engage in ongoing professional and personal learning
- Liaise with other allied health professionals and medical practitioners
- Provide education to clients, families, and the community
- Build strong relationships with clients and their families to provide ongoing care

Requirements
- Current Speech Pathology degree and a member of Speech Pathology Australia
- Medicare Provider Number and current working with children check
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Effective time management skills to ensure goals and expectations are met
- The ability to build strong genuine relationships with clients and their families
- A current Driver's Licence and own vehicle
- General paediatric caseload experience and experience with children with autism and developmental delays
- Multilingual therapists to be looked upon favourably
