We have a 1-2 day per week casual position available, start asap.

CASELOAD

You'd be taking over an active caseload of approximately 8 clients (currently), with the option to grow the caseload as you wish. The clients are primarily secondary school students (most on NDIS) who require low to moderate level intervention across expressive and receptive language, social skills and executive functioning.

WHERE

Clients are seen:

• at our Lane Cove clinic rooms
• on campus at a nearby school
• occasionally, in their homes

Access to a vehicle would be essential for the role. Travel reimbursements are available for NDIS related travel to and from client's homes.

THE ROLE

This role would suit a speechie with experience with this age group (12-18 yrs), however, new graduates who have an interest working with young adults are encouraged to apply. The role requires someone who is able to manage their own time and caseload independently. Experience preparing NDIS reports would be advantageous, however, templates and mentoring is available to clinicians who are new to this area.

Client onboarding and administration is handled by ST&Co., so you're free to simply book in clients as suits your schedule.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE

The active caseload currently comprises about 8 hours of 1:1 therapy, which may suit a person seeking to work 1-2 days as a contractor under an ABN. However, we also have a waitlist, therefore, there is the option to join the team as a part-time or full-time employee. Please contact us to discuss the employment type that would suit you best.
