About the role:
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Speech Pathologist to join the team as an Independent Contractor. In this hybrid role, you will work with NDIS participants across a variety of ages and presentations, providing assessments, intervention, reporting, and collaborative support to help clients achieve their goals.
You will have the flexibility to work from home, in the community, or other suitable environments while managing your own schedule and caseload. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments
- Delivering evidence-based therapy and interventions
- Preparing clinical reports and recommendations
- Collaborating with participants, families, carers, and other allied health professionals
- Supporting clients to build functional communication and independence

To be considered for this opportunity, you will require:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Speech Pathologist within NDIS and/or community settings
- Current Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) registration
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and report-writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
- Valid driver’s licence and comprehensively insured vehicle
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check
- Full Australian working rights
- Australian Business Number (ABN)
- Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance
- 100 points of identification
Please note: This is an Independent Contractor position. Contractors are responsible for managing their own superannuation, tax obligations, equipment, and associated business expenses.
