Speech Pathologist - Illawarra Region

Why work for Northcott?

Working with Northcott in the Illawarra you are joining a fantastic team of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Allied Health Assistants. We serve the region in the North to Helensburgh, down South to Jamberoo and Kiama. If you live in any of these regions and are keen to join a passionate NFP organisation, who genuinely serve the disability sector to create a positive change in people’s lives, then we want to hear from you!

Work-life balance: Full time and part time positions are available and we offer a 9 day working fortnight for our full timers.

Genuine flexible work practices: We set you up with the equipment you need, so that you can work anywhere. You can work from home or across two of our friendly sites based in Wollongong and Oak Flats. Or you might choose a healthy balance of both so you can benefit from a catch up with the team in the office and also have days working from home, where you can knuckle down and get things done in your own time.

Support: At Northcott we support our therapists, because we understand the critical relationship between support and performance. The better the supports around you, the better you can be at your job. We offer you formal regular clinical supervision, operational support and mentoring, and a range of opportunities to attend both internal and external professional development. We also have an excellent peer to peer support network giving you access to over 100 therapists across different generalist and specialty teams, and opportunities to network and connect through a range of forums.

We are serious about offering you support: We give our clinicians 2 weeks paid professional development leave each financial year and a generous professional development budget to go toward approved courses, workshops and seminars.

Perks of working at a NFP: Five weeks of paid annual leave and a generous paid maternity leave program, salary packaging, discounted gym & health fund membership, discounted motor vehicle services and entertainment cards, novated lease Arrangement for a vehicle if desired.
