Sunshines - Eat Speak Move provides support for children and adults between 2-65+ years of age. You will get the opportunity to work for a highly regarded family clinic in the heart of North Lakes. We offer a range of services including physiotherapy, speech pathology, occupational therapydietetics, allied health assistants and various group programs (including MDT hydrotherapy).

We have a new graduate program for those who have just completed their studies as well as an onboarding program to continue fostering a love for learning and guiding our colleagues in a way that nurtures and uplifts each employee from the get go.

As a team, we all love projects and are currently working on a training/educational platform, a MDT feeding clinic and a one of the kind therapy farm focusing on daily life skills and social communication. We encourage innovation and work within best practice modes of therapy and assessment for each discipline.


We have a position for a Speech Pathologist to join us on a part time or full time basis in our clinic in North Lakes.

Working as part of our multi-disciplinary team will involve:

  • When you first join the team, together we will develop a Career Development Plan. This will put us on a path to helping you achieve your goals.
  • Easing into your position with a balanced caseload (average 4 clients per day)
  • Providing strength and evidence based intervention to individuals.
  • Primarily providing support for clients in the clinic with the opportunity to provide support for some clients in their local school, kinder or home depending on the clients needs and therapy goals.
  • Participating in peer consultations with other disciplines to achieve client outcomes.
  • Work with clients to set achievable goals that will support them to function more independently at home, school and in the community.
  • Facilitate social skills, school readiness or other discipline specific groups as the need arises.



About You

We are seeking a bubbly, caring, professional candidate with the following experience, skills and knowledge:

  • graduate qualifications in Speech Pathology
  • membership of Speech Pathology Australia
  • evidence of successfully achieving innovative and sustainable changes in work practices within an organisation
  • ability to identify or collect appropriate data, for example, assessment data or data surrounding a target behaviour to make appropriate decisions or evaluate outcomes
  • ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
  • experience liaising with a wide range of stakeholders
  • able to select and support appropriate quality improvement projects 
  • strong time management skills demonstrated through self-direction and oversight of a range of work tasks 
  • a current driver's licence.
  • Strong work ethic and desire to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Effective time management and prioritisation skills.
  • High standard of written, verbal and interpersonal communication.
  • Reliable and committed to providing a high quality of service to all clients.
  • Ability to positively engage with clients of all ages.

Working With Children Check (WWCC)

As either an adult or paediatric speech pathologist, you will cross paths with children as such this role is classified as child-related work and therefore requires a WWCC clearance prior to commencement of employment.
