Kurrajong Therapy Plus has an exciting opportunity for either experienced Speech Pathologists or new graduates to work in our expanding multidisciplinary team. The successful applicants will have the opportunity to work with children, adolescents and adults with disabilities and their families and carers.
The location of the positions will be in Wagga Wagga and Tumut, with a relocation reimbursement payable to the Tumut position.

The Opportunity
Kurrajong Therapy Plus consists of a unique multidisciplinary team of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants, Educators and Aides.
As a valued member of our Speech Pathology team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives by providing clinical therapy to clients who are experiencing learning, sensory, language, intellectual and cognitive difficulties.

Essential Criteria

  • A relevant university qualification in Speech Pathology
  • Current Class C Drivers Licence
  • Working with Children Check clearance (or willing to obtain)
  • Current member of Speech Pathology Australia
  • National Police History Check for Aged/Children/Disabled/Vulnerable (conducted by Kurrajong)
  • Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Relevant experience as a Speech Pathologist or student placements if a recent graduate
  • Ability to prioritise, plan, anticipate risks and problem solve
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of person centred and family centred practice
  • Ability to think creatively and use initiative to work through issues
  • Ability to implement Work Health and Safety, Risk Management and Quality Assurance requirements
