About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Scrub Scout to join a busy perioperative team on a 3-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in perioperative nursing while being fully supported with accommodation and travel.

You will play a key role in supporting surgical teams, ensuring smooth procedures, and maintaining high standards of patient care in the operating theatre.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the surgical team during procedures as a Scrub Scout

• Prepare and maintain sterile instruments and equipment

• Ensure patient safety and support perioperative workflow

• Collaborate with perioperative staff to maintain a high standard of care

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) registration with AHPRA

• Experience in perioperative or operating theatre nursing preferred

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Flexibility to work a 3-month contract, starting ASAP
