Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a VR (Vocationally Registered) or non-VR General Practitioner (GP) at Pirie Medical Centre, located in Port Pirie, SA. The GP will deliver high-quality primary healthcare to a diverse patient population, perform consultations, diagnose and manage a variety of health conditions, and offer preventative healthcare solutions. Collaboration with nursing staff and other health professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients is a key aspect of this role. Additional responsibilities include participating in training and development programs to maintain and develop clinical skills.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in Medicine, including Primary Care and Family Medicine
• Proficiency in providing healthcare services in areas such as Nursing and patient care
• Commitment to ongoing Training and professional development
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care
• Current medical registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
• Familiarity with health regulations and compliance standards in Australia
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in rural or regional healthcare settings is an advantage
