VR General Practitioner

About the role:

Avalon Family Medical Practice is seeking a vocationally registered General Practitioner (VR GP) to join our well-established, AGPAL-accredited clinic on a part-time basis (2–3 days per week). This is an excellent opportunity for a GP seeking flexible hours in a supportive, community-focused environment.

About the practice:

Our practice has proudly served the Avalon Beach community for over 60 years and is the only general practice located in Avalon Village. We are a private billing, GP-owned clinic with a strong reputation for patient-centred care. The practice is home to a collegial team of eight GPs, supported by two experienced Practice Nurses and a highly capable administrative team.

Located adjacent to the Avalon Bowling Green and just a short stroll to the beach, our setting offers the best of both worlds — a peaceful, village atmosphere with access to all the amenities of Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

Candidate requirements:

Vocational Registration with AHPRA (FRACGP or equivalent)

Eligibility for a Medicare provider number. Commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care
