About the Role and Practice

Our client is an accredited after hours and AMDS service that attends to urgent medical needs of the local Tasmanian community when their regular GPs are not available. This clinic operates every day of the year on weekends, weeknights and public holidays giving patients extended access to healthcare whilst reducing pressure on hospital emergency departments. You will only be dealing with cases which require immediate attention only and liasing with your patients’ local GPs whenever appropriate. Operating Hours:

• Weeknights: 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
• Weekends: 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
• Public Holidays: 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Essential Criteria:

• MBBS or equivalent
• Must have a current and valid AHPRA GENERAL /SPECIALIST registration
• FRACGP qualified
• Good team player
