VR or Non-VR General Practitioner

Applications are invited for the position of GP to join the General Practitioners located in Parkes NSW.

We are looking for a committed and flexible GP to join the Practice to provide comprehensive and ongoing medical care at the practice for families and individuals as well as visiting nursing home residents and doing house calls as required.

There are desirable criteria for this GP VMO position at our local hospital.

The Practice has a well developed General Practice Systems with full electronic medical records and an established recall/ reminder system.

There is good team spirit in the practice with cheerful efficient staff. Parkes is situated in central western NSW (shire population 15,000) and is a thriving rural town 100 km west of Orange. There are major retail outlets in town e.g. Big W, Coles and Woolworths supermarkets.

There is a wide range of sport and recreation activities available with a good choice of schools.

Nursing support is also available, treatment rooms, allied health services and complete administrative support

Income expectation -$250K-$300K per year.

DPA approved location  VR Doctors 75% Non VR Doctors with General Registration 70%
