About the Opportunity

Are you a local VR GP with a passion for rural medicine or perhaps Non-VR GP looking to complete your fellowship in a DPA and/or MMM2 - 7 location? A mixed billing family practice established for almost 10 years in the LaTrobe Valley Gippsland region about 2 hours drive from Melbourne has an opportunity for VR or Non-VR GPs to join their growing team! Based in a DPA-MMM3 area this location is suitable for any GP with GENERAL or SPECIALIST AHPRA registration who is looking to establish themselves as a GP in the community with a strong patient following and long-term patient relationships. Their comprehensive range of services include men and women's health issues, maternity & reproductive health, workcover, management of chronic/respiratory/acute conditions, appropriate tests & investigations for the treatment and diagnosis of medical conditions, preventative health checks & assessments, skin checks and minor procedures, mental health and children's health with full-time nursing support to assist with vaccinations, dressings and care plans etc. IMGs on temporary visas needing sponsorship are encouraged to APPLY as our client is willing to consider sponsorship for the right candidate.

Essential Criteria:

• MBBS or equivalent
• Must have a current and valid AHPRA GENERAL /SPECIALIST registration
• FRACGP qualified
• Medical Indemnity Insurance
