Weekend VR GP Position

Purpose and mission

We are looking for a VR GP to work in our Doctors at Southport Park practice on weekends to take over from an existing GP who will be stepping down from weekend work.

This position would suit any VR GP who is looking to boost their weekly income by working on weekends, and is suitable for IMGs subject to s19AB.

The practice

Doctors at Southport Park is a busy, modern, accredited, well managed, well-equipped facility, with a strong patient base in mid-week and weekend periods. We have an exceptional supportive, professional and friendly practice culture and seek someone who will add to that existing culture on weekends.  

Qualifications

- Must have Vocational Registration and FRACGP and/or FACRRM.

- Must have unconditional Specialist (General Practice) registration with AHPRA.

- Must be eligible for A1 level Medicare rebates.

- Completion of the online COVID-19 Vaccine training an advantage but not compulsory.

Responsibilities

This position will assist the practice manage its existing and new patient base on weekends, by providing a convenient, professional, friendly, quality general practice service. Typically weekend presentations in our clinic are relatively straight forward, with follow up to occur during the week with our mid-week GPs if/where required.
