Wangaratta Medical Centre is a GP owned, private billing and teaching practice (GP Registrars and Year 3 Medical Students).

Multiple Special interests (Paediatrics, O&G, skin cancer surgery, Geriatrics, Palliative Care and Lactation).

New GPs are encouraged and supported to pursue special interests.

The practice is mainly appointment based but we also provide limited on the day walk-in services. The lead clinicians are experienced GP Supervisors, Medical Educators and College examiners. We have monthly GP meetings and regular staff meetings. 3 – 4 Administrative support staff daily.

We have 2 full time equivalent Nurses, who are very valuable providing support to doctors in their daily tasks. Our Health Assessments, care plans and medicals are Nurse initiated. We have a treatment room for procedures and each room is fully equipped to do procedures if needed. Pathology on site on Saturdays

We offer for 65% of billings or a remunerations package. No afterhours or oncall. We do offer a relocation grant.
