Clinical Coordinator
Job Description
We are searching for a part time Clinical Coordinator to provide clinical leadership to our community and in home care staff. Setting up and maintaining good governance structures which include reviewing care plans, medication management, infection control & waste management protocols, staff and client compliance with health & safety requirements and undertaking staff skills & competency assessments.
Key Responsibilities

Providing clinical leadership, monitoring care plans and supervising care workers.

Being a point of reference for clinical knowledge & information for the team.

Comfortable working autonomously and in a constantly changing and ambiguous environment.

Assist support teams with recruitment, rosterings and staff selection to ensure the appropriate model of care is in place.

Liase & collaborate with other healthcare professionals and where needed advocate for our clients' rights.

Undertake regular training and competency assessment of care team staff encompassing identifying and supporting staff training & development needs.

Ensure that staff deliver contemporary, evidence based and person-centric care & support to clients and their informal support networks.
Qualifications & Certifications

Current AHPRA Registered Nurse (Div 1)

Bachelor of Nursing or above

Minimum 5+ years post qualification RN work experience

Great communication skills (written & verbal)

Must hold or be willing to attain, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, Current National Police Check, Evidence of 2+ COVID and current Flu Vaccination

Current Driving Licence, Comprehensive Car Insurance & Access to Own Reliable Vehicle

Available to work at least 1 or 2 weekdays per week (some flexibility in days and times) and occasional evenings
