About the Role

An excellent short-term opportunity is available for a Physiotherapist to join a multidisciplinary allied health team in the Northern Territory. This role offers exposure to a broad hospital-based caseload, with the opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care across acute and sub-acute settings.

You will work in a collaborative environment, supporting patient recovery and rehabilitation while gaining valuable experience across a diverse clinical landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and treatment plans
• Manage a varied caseload across acute hospital settings
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Provide evidence-based interventions tailored to individual patient needs
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Support continuity of care through effective communication with patients and healthcare teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Physiotherapy
• Current registration with AHPRA (or eligibility)
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a hospital setting
• Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team

Desirable Skills

• Acute hospital experience across areas such as orthopaedics, general medicine, renal, and palliative care
• Experience in musculoskeletal outpatient settings and/or pelvic health (highly regarded)
