About Us
Hawthorn Medical and Wellness Hub is a GP owned medical practice, which re-opened in August 2024. It is positioned in a busy HomeCo shopping centre, which is located only 8km east of the Melbourne CBD and bounded by two key arterial roads.
HomeCo Hawthorn East serves a large population of Melbourne’s inner and outer eastern suburbs and has popular shops including Anaconda, Woolworths supermarket, Dan Murphy’s liquor store, 24/7 Gym, a cafe and specialty shops. Our medical practice is well exposed to foot traffic and is conveniently located beside Chemist Warehouse.
HomeCo. Hawthorn East is easy to access by car, there is free 24/7 open space parking and undercover parking. Parking permits are issued to all staff. The centre is also easily accessible by public transport, via bus with bus stops available on Toorak Rd and by train, Tooronga Railway station is a short walk away.

- Flexible hours: We offer full-time and part-time positions with no lock-in contracts.
- Attractive earnings: Receive a guaranteed $180/hour for the first 3 months or 70% of billings (whichever is greater). After 3 months, we offer 75% if you work three days a week or more.
- Fee structure: we are gradually increasing gap fees. New GPs are welcome to set their own fees including procedural fees.
- All billings are paid directly into doctors’ personal bank accounts.
- Our cloud-hosted Best Practice software can be accessed from anywhere, including from home.
- Allied health: 4cyte pathology six days a week, dietitian, chiropractor, psychologist, and dentist.
- Great location: The clinic is conveniently situated within a bustling HomeCo shopping centre, with Chemist Warehouse, Woolworths, a 24/7 gym, and Dan Murphy’s right next door, ensuring high foot traffic near the practice. Free parking.
- Admin support: Benefit from full-time nursing, reception and dedicated practice management support.
- Training opportunities: We offer training in Cosmetic Medicine and skin procedures. Unique opportunity to train in Gender Affirming care.
Requirements: FRACGP (VR), AHPRA Specialist Registration, Australian PR or Citizen.
