Our practice is seeking a fulltime General Practitioner with FRACGP or equivalent. Full registration is a requirement due to current classification as non DWS. An interest in advanced skin cancer medicine with a post graduate qualification will be a strong advantage but is not essential. Mentoring can be provided by the principal (FRACGP & FSCCA) and generous training incentives are available for further advanced training.
Remuneration is 65% of gross billing with an initial guaranteed minimum. Annual earnings are above average. There is no after-hour commitment.
Our practice incorporates a mixed billing GP practice (Scotvale Medical Centre) with a dedicated skin cancer clinic (Capricorn Skin & Laser Centre) service based in North Rockhampton. They are co located in a large purpose designed spacious building.
The practice is fully computerised with an extensive IT infrastructure. Our professional team consists of one practice principal, five General Practitioners and supported by highly trained nurses, dermal therapists and administrative staff.
The vast majority of our practice population prefer having a long term regular GP. The case load is diverse and stimulating. We also offer an extended range of skin cancer services including surgery to the extended central region of Queensland.
Our practice is accredited for teaching with RACGP, UQ, GMT and JFPP. We have a committed academic approach to ongoing education within the practice.
