Integrated Care Services Division
The Integrated Care Services Division offers a diverse range of programs and services which provide high quality person centred care to patients, clients, residents and consumers in Bendigo and across the Loddon Mallee Region. Services are provided in inpatient, outpatient, community, home and residential care settings.
Outpatient Rehabilitation Services provide outpatient rehabilitation to children and adults in the Bendigo and Northern Victorian region.
Rehabilitation is time limited, goal orientated and aimed at maximising potential and quality of life and can be provided either in the centre or in the client's home.
Most clients receive a range of services including:
- Occupational therapy
- Speech pathology
- Social work
- Psychology and neuropsychology
- Exercise physiology
Services are offered within a rehabilitation framework and will provide client focused flexible rehabilitation for clients with complex rehabilitation needs.
This position is a full time, fixed term working in Outpatient Rehabilitation Services (OPRS). This senior physiotherapist role works in the neurological rehabilitation stream providing comprehensive multidisciplinary assessment and rehabilitation to clients with a wide range of neurological conditions such as Stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, Motor Neurones Disease, Vestibular dysfunction and Spinal Cord Injuries. This senior position provides clinical leadership across all areas of the neurological stream and across Bendigo Health. OPRS is primarily funded by Sub acute Ambulatory Care to provide both general community and specialist rehabilitation. The OPRS service includes the streams of Musculoskeletal, Neurological and Tissue Trauma. Each stream is operationally managed by a stream leader.

01.A degree in physiotherapy or equivalent, with current registration as a physiotherapist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (AHPRA), and ability to meet Bendigo Health’s credentialing requirements.
02.Post graduate qualifications in neurological rehabilitation, or relevant
03.Demonstrates advanced skills, and experience in providing neurological rehabilitation to clients with a broad range of conditions as part of a multidisciplinary team.
04.Demonstrated experience in providing clinical supervision to grade 2 and 1 physiotherapists and students.
05.Knowledge of quality improvement frameworks and experience in leading quality projects, and change initiatives.
06.Demonstrated ability to learn and develop advanced clinical and leadership skills and apply these in practice.
07.Demonstrates advanced skills in the assessment and management of vestibular conditions
08.Demonstrated experience in the assessment, rehabilitation and long-term health management of clients with spinal cord injuries
