The population is approximately 19,000 and is supported primarily by the sugar and vegetable growing, agriculture and grazing industries. Fishing is possibly the single most popular pastime.

You will join a team of 2 GPs and experienced practice nurses. Visiting allied health services are available. Currently the services provided at the practice include:
