You will work together with your colleagues to create an environment where residents retain a level of activity and independence, and are able to participate in a variety of activities and events according to their own interests and wishes.
About the location
Young is a substantial rural service centre with a population of 10,500+ . Visitors have noted that for a small town it has a lot of big town amenities. A good shopping district, including several major chain stores. Good employment prospects. A substantial youthful population, three primary schools, two high schools, a tafe. You will also find sporting facilities, across a very broad range of sports.
Minimum Qualifications
- Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Division 1
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent clinical skill base and knowledge of legislation within Aged Care
- Experience in leading and supervising teams of people
- Demonstrated understanding of person-centred care and ability to work in a team environment
- Provide a valid NDIS clearance check
- Proof of vaccination status consistent with public health orders (includes but is not limited to COVID-19 and seasonal influenza vaccination compliance requirement)
