REGISTERED NURSE

We are looking for a casual RN to join our busy Accredited GP practice for a minimum of 20 hours per week and as required. The successful candidate must be able to apply nursing assessment skills and nursing practice in a safe and professional manner that reflects practice standards and guidelines and RACGP guidelines. Experience in General Practice is essential with skills and experience in the following:

• Patient health assessments.
• Patient Chronic Disease Management Plans. 
• Experience with Immunisations. 
• Liaising with Allied Health, Community Care Services, and specialist practices. 
• Facilitating effective communication between patients and health care providers. 
• Registers, recall and reminder systems through Best Practice Software. 
• Monitoring and maintaining cold chain procedures and recommendations as per national and state guidelines. 
• Perform clinical duties within required level of clinical competency, according to best available evidence.
