Podiatrist
The Role: Rural Health is seeking a Part Time Podiatrist to share an existing caseload. The perfect candidate is driven and experienced in building and maintaining a strong client caseload and is a natural rapport builder.

The successful applicant will get…
- Fortnightly one-on-one meeting with the Director to focus on what you want to develop – whether that’s clinical reasoning or clinical skills, leadership and mentoring, or personal development.
- Structured 90 day induction with weekly meetings and support from a Senior Practitioner to set you up to succeed in private practice.
- Weekly team case reviews over a coffee to discuss tricky clients and workshop multidisciplinary solutions together.
- With our focus on ongoing growth we annually contribute $1000 to clinical professional development for full time employment and also remunerate for 20 hours spent pursuing external CPD.
- Wanting to pursue further training or a speciality? You’ll also be eligible for NSW Rural Doctors Network $10000 HWSP scholarship every 12 months spent with us.

You will work closely with Physiotherapists, Accredited Exercise Physiologist & Podiatrists in clinical rooms. Areas of clinical practice will typically include:
- Foot & ankle pain diagnosis and treatment
- Acute sports injuries
- Orthotic and AFO prescription, modification and repair
- Diabetic foot care
- Nail and skin problems
- Gym based rehabilitation, strength & conditioning
- Pre/post operation rehabilitation
- Assisting in marketing initiatives
- Liaison with GP’s, Specialists, & Plan Managers
