Clinical Psychologist
This is an exciting opportunity to join our multi-disciplinary team with full wrap-around support at BYS’ youth specific clinic.
Brisbane Youth Service are seeking expressions of interest for a part-time Clinical Psychologist to join our unique and expanding youth specific medical clinic located at the Fortitude Valley Hub.
The medical clinic provides a youth-focused primary care medical service for vulnerable young people (aged 12-25 years), who often have complex health and social needs, including both diagnosed and unaddressed mental health issues, leading to difficulties navigating health care.
We see a cross section of clinical disorders including trauma, developmental disorders, personality disorders, eating disorders, substance use disorder, anxiety and depression.
Our goals:
- Conduct assessments for ASD, ADHD, SLD and intellectual disability
- Offer accessible and evidence-based treatment
- Provision of recommendations for accommodations for education, NDIS and DSP applications where appropriate
- An integrated model of care, delivering multi-disciplinary treatment and support to highly complex, disadvantaged and vulnerable young people within BYS’ safe and youth friendly environment.
