Occupational Therapist and Speech Pathologist
We are a growing practice with the need to hire additional staff to keep up with referrals. We are noticing that there is an increased demand for occupational therapy services. If you are joining as an occupational therapist you will likely build your caseload quickly. We would like to build a role and a room for an occupational therapist to join the team, and have their input on assessments, resources and equipment they would like to have. Ideally, it would be someone who is confident in running their own caseload, but we are happy to provide external mentoring for the right person.
Our team of speech pathologists work predominately within the 0-12 age group. We would love to have a speech pathologist on board who would work with high school aged children, particularly a therapist who is confident and passionate about literacy and written language, and who is familiar with the high school curriculum. Again, a therapist who is confident in running their own caseload would be ideal, but we are happy to provide mentoring for the right person.
Most of our therapists have been at the clinic for many years, so it is incredibly important to us that the person is the right fit and is looking for something long term. Finding the right therapist is important to us, so we are open to negotiating the type of contract (employee or contractor), hours and pay.
