Plans are to co-locate health services near hospitals, and enable housing for health workers and visiting health professionals.
Lismore is located on the Bruxner Highway, and is a two-and-a-half-hour drive from Brisbane and nine hour from Sydney. CountryLink train services are available from Sydney to Casino with an option to change over from Casino to reach Lismore by bus.
