Support for aged care workers delivering palliative care

• SA Government funds research projects that provide more critical support to nurses and aged care workers led by Flinders University. 
• Dr. Deidre Morgan receives $75,000 and aims at developing resources to strengthen hygiene standards in residential care centres.
• The doctor will use the perspectives of workers and residents on the dignity of intimate hygiene in residences in developing training resources for their staff.
• Another project aims to develop Onkaparinga Compassionate Communities to support people at the end of life.
