ELECTROCARDIOGRAM (ECG PART 1 & PART 2) WORKSHOP

  • : Melbourne VIC 3004

ECG Workshop, Part 1 & Part 2 provides you with the ability to interpret the electrocardiogram (ECG) which is an essential skill for doctors.

Overview

However ECG training in most specialties only teaches the basic knowledge. Through a series of focused lectures and case-presentations we will discuss multiple ECG key points with real cases that will elevate your confidence and ability to interpret ECGs to a higher level. We will also discuss some of the common pitfalls that can lead to adverse outcomes.
The workshops are divided in Part 1 and Part 2 where we will cover a mix of practical patient presentations, mainly in the emergency department where the ECG is the first and probably the most important investigation tool to make a decision about your patient’s management and disposition.
This course is relevant for those who work or wish to work in the Emergency Department, Cardiology, Critical Care and General Practice.
