NSQHS standards (second edition) Package

  • : Australia

The AGPAL & QIP Education and Training National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards (second edition) package takes an in-depth look at the second edition of the NSQHS Standards.

Combining a blended learning approach, learners will gain a comprehensive understanding of each individual NSQHS Standard to support interpretation of requirements, inclusive of criterion and indicator intent.

Relevant to staff across all levels of a health service, including Board and Management, this package emphasises the key areas of non-compliance and provides tailored and practical strategies to support Standards application within the specified healthcare setting.

Package Includes

Face-to-face Workshop

This package includes a one-day face-to-face interactive workshop, for up to 30 attendees. The AGPAL & QIP Education and Training Team will plan and coordinate the workshop, to be conducted at a date and location as agreed by the package purchaser.

Delivered by an expert facilitator, this interactive workshop is tailored to each organisation’s requirements and includes a complete take home workbook for all attendees.

This facilitator led workshop will combine small group work and whole group discussions as well as practical examples, case studies, tools and resources, to support a number of implementation initiatives and take away learnings for all attendees.

This package includes a series of four one-hour webinars that will examine and train to the gaps of the NSQHS Standards across an organisation:

  • Webinar 1: How to interpret the Standards specifically for your health service
  • Webinar 2: Clinical Governance and Consumer Engagement Framework
  • Webinar 3: Risk and Incident Register
  • Webinar 4: Consumer and Organisation Engagement

Delivered by an NSQHS Standards expert coach, participants will have an opportunity to ask questions and interact throughout the session.

The structured conversations will leave learners with a plan to approach the next step in the accreditation cycle.
