The Radiology – Integrated Training Initiative (R-ITI) is a high-quality elearning resource for radiologists around the globe.
You can choose from more 750 interactive sessions that cover all aspects of radiology. The programme offers ideal preparation for FRCR* and equivalent examinations. It is also suitable for fully qualified clinicians looking to reinforce or strengthen core knowledge.

This highly engaging content includes many interactive features, such as practical exercises and self-assessment questions, to reinforce your learning and understanding. Using interactive case studies, you can analyse written reports and enhance your skills in interpreting clinical information. You can also view numerous high-quality images (including X-rays), ultrasound video clips and 3D diagrams, which creates greater spatial awareness and realism than textbook learning.

Course Content
The radiology (R-ITI) online elearning programme consists of a number of modules that are divided up into smaller elearning sessions. Each session typically takes around 30 to 40 minutes to complete.
After an introduction guiding the learner on how to make the most of the programme a series of modules cover the subjects of imaging cardiac, thoracic-respiratory, vascular & interventional, musculoskeletal & trauma, gastro-intestinal, breast, gynaecology-obstetrics, and genito-urinary & adrenal.
A specific module of paediatric imaging is followed by head & neck, neuroradiology and radionuclide radiology.
Finally, modules of basic science, physics and professional skills complete the programme.
Clinical oncology pathway
A specific pathway has also been created relating to oncology. This standalone pathway features around 100 dedicated oncology sessions from the R-ITI programme. This pathway is suitable for all healthcare professionals working in oncology. It is included in the full R-ITI programme or available to purchase as a separate individual module.

The programmes are high quality self-directed learning programmes. They are designed to support training and CPD and are excellent resources alongside other traditional teaching methodologies. They have been developed by the UK NHS for use in the NHS. However, many of the programmes have international relevance, particularly the specialty training programmes which are often mapped to UK specialty training curricula.
