RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS: DIAGNOSIS & INVESTIGATION
Dr Shirley Yu is a consultant rheumatologist who graduated from the University of New South Wales. She has done further specialist training at Canberra, Royal Prince Alfred and Royal North Shore Hospitals and is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
She is currently a consultant rheumatologist at Royal North Shore Hospital and runs a general rheumatology clinic the Osteoarthritis Chronic Care Program clinics. She is also a clinical lecturer for the University of Sydney, Northern Clinical School.
She has a special interest in osteoarthritis, and other aspects of general rheumatology, including the diagnosis and medical management of an array of musculoskeletal conditions – inflammatory arthritis, crystal arthropathies, systemic lupus erythematosus, myositis and vasculitis.
Dr Anne Chung
Dr Anne Chung is a consultant rheumatologist and fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. She has a special interest in inflammatory diseases including inflammatory arthritis, gout and lupus.
Anne completed a year of Medical Fellowship with the Australian National University in 2013. During this time, she also researched the factors influencing response to biologic disease modifying agents in patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Anne is involved in community education and has given seminars on rheumatic conditions. She is committed to teaching and research, and worked as a Conjoint Associate Lecturer with the University of NSW.
