This case-based webinar will explore a more patient-centric management of depression, giving you an opportunity to update your skills in tailoring depression treatment to patient symptoms. In the context of overall management, a focus will be enhancing efficacy of antidepressant treatment while minimising side effects, and initiatives to improve adherence, in order to increase the likelihood of treatment success.

- Assess and manage side effects of antidepressant treatment to maintain patient quality of life.
- Implement strategies to appropriately switch or stop antidepressant treatment to ensure optimal outcomes.
Prof Philip Boyce
Philip Boyce is Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Sydney and Head of the Perinatal Psychiatry Clinical Research Unit at Westmead Hospital. He has published extensively in peer reviewed journals and is coauthor of two books, one on depression and one on postnatal mood disorders and was the senior editor of the Sydney Handbook of Anxiety Disorders.
