Emma is currently based at St Vincent's Hospital in Melbourne, where she is a Gastroenterologist and leader of the IBD and Pregnancy Clinic. She is also a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne, and is conducting ongoing research within the field of IBD and pregnancy.
