This course will give an overview of best practice in privacy and cyber security practices
Relevance to General PracticeThe Australian Cyber Security centre has identified medical practices as significantly at risk of cyber-attacks. The office of the Australian Information Commissioner has also identified health services as having the highest amount of data breaches when compared to other sectors. Medical Practitioners have an obligation to their patients to protect their privacy and data and so consequently need to prepare for the possibility of cyber or data breaches.
