Food allergies in neonates and children

On-demand recorded 1 Jul 2020
Allergic diseases are common in Australia affecting around 20% of the population. With the current COVID-19 pandemic limiting the ability for face-to-face education, the planned one-day allergy and immunology face-to-face workshop was broken down into a four-part webinar series. Topics include allergy testing, managing common allergic presentations, urticaria and managing food allergies in neonates and children. Facilitated by Dr Scott Preston, and presented by Prof. Pete Smith from Queensland Allergy Services, this webinar covers evidence-based approaches to managing food allergy and intolerance in neonates and children. It also includes a discussion on breast feeding advice for when cow's milk protein intolerance is suspected.
