This instalment of the Rural Health Webinar Series explores the assessment and management of burn injuries. It covers the assessment of burn depth, criteria for referral to burns units, and practical steps that rural GPs can use in initial burn management, blister management, dressing and follow up, as well as special considerations in the management of burns to specific areas such as the face, hands, feet and perineum.
