Kristianne Jarman completed her Bachelor of Nursing in 2006. She worked as a General Practice Nurse for 8 years.   Kristianne completed her Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education and Management in 2012.

She continued working as a Registered Nurse in General Practice for a few years before moving to Diabetes Queensland to pursue a full-time role as a Credentialled Diabetes Educator.  Kristianne is the lead on the Diabetes Basics program where she is coordinating the review of the current school guidelines and supporting Queensland schools, support staff and parents of students living with all type of diabetes.

Kristianne has been living with type 1 diabetes since 1988 and therefore is very passionate about supporting people living with diabetes.
