Speech Pathologist (Contract)
Purpose and Mission
Based as a Melbourne-based paediatric clinic, JL Speech Pathology is on a mission to ensure every voice is heard and every story told. With desires to help as many families as possible, JL Speech Pathology sees children anywhere between 12 months to 18 years.
As a Speech Pathology Contractor, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse paediatric caseload, aged 18 months to 18 years of age. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive assessments, diagnosing speech and language disorders, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing evidence-based therapy services. You will collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and client-centered approach to treatment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Full CPSP, registered with Speech Pathology Australia
- An Australian-accredited Bachelors or Masters of Speech Therapy (or equivalent)
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist, preferably with experience in diverse clinical settings.
- Proficiency in administering standardized assessments and using evidence-based therapy techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
Remuneration
- Up to 70% of billings commensurate to experience.
Contract Details:
- Contract Duration: Initial 6-month contract with the potential for extension based on performance and mutual agreement.
- Hours: Minimum 15 billable hours a week. Flexible scheduling options available, with opportunities for part-time or full-time work.
- Location: This position may offer a mixture of clinic, telehealth, home and kinder visits to accommodate the needs of our clients.
